fine job on the subedit, but in the last line it should read 'wang dang doodle' not 'wang clang doodle'

It reads that because I haven't changed anything yet. So that's your typo, mate.
Be patient, and things will happen.

Ah well, er, umm (and other assorted sounds of general embarrassment) in that case I notice that a few paragraphs above there is a less than sign where a long dash ought to be and in the phrase "turn it up to eleven" the numerals 11 seem to have become a pair of L's or parallel lines.
thanks for all the hard work you're about to do!

Hi paperboy,
Right, I've done over the first half of this (down to 'Riffing and Stuff'), tidied up a few note-type niggles (with the aid of my trusty Hohner), added a couple of jokes of my own, and will start work on the second half (possibly) this weekend.
What do you think so far?

hey, it is looking very good B! One small quibble though - Dan Ackroyd didn't learn to play harp just for the Blues Brothers thing, he had been playing for years before that. I asked him once...

Now, that's interesting. Being an ardent Blues Bros. fan myself, I own 'the Making of the Blues Bros' video, which states that Dan Ayckroyd had never touched the instrument before SNL. Do you think he was lying to you?
I really must finish subbing this soon - the Editors are on my back about it.

I will bow to your superior expertise, BUT the last bit still says "wang clang doodle" and should say "wang dang doodle".
(In a 15 year career in newspapers this is possibly the most absurd editorial note I have ever written when read out of context, and I've cover small town politics, so that is saying something)
