A Conversation for 'A Christmas Carol' - the Novel

I wouldn't call 'A Christmas Carol' a novel. Maybe a novella - it's not a great deal longer than this entry itself.
There have been so many different versions and adaptations of it, that it's hard to remember if I've ever actually read it or not. I think I did when I was a kid, but I might have just absorbed the plot from one of the other versions.

It could be thought a little pedantic to quibble! At about 145 pages it probably scrapes in as a very short novel. It was undoubtedly an incredibly powerful and influential novel/novella and thats what is important.
