I believe children ask these 'annoying' and out of the blue questions because they feel they need to learn about the world. In the future the population will not be as clever than todays generation. This is because in future generation knowledge will be the only thing which will gain you power. Knowledge is Power! Soon, parents and adults who are already clever will have the opportunity to forget any important or usful information they know. They will also be advised to make sure they children or younger generation don't learn any thing, which will be to their advantage in their future life. To be blunt with you here, the only people who are to know any thing of any importance will be the government and the people who have to run complecated machines so that, for example, the roller coasters in theme parks do not break down, meaning many people don't die (because that is a bad thing believe it or not!). The point is that in the future every one will expected to live blissfull lives, watching T.V, playing football (this is for the men) and then shopping going out with freinds (more 'actually doing things' things for the ladies of the world). Every one will have an income of say £10,000 per memember of the house hold a year -fair? No one has to work, very fun. So going back to the idea of the child asking question, you don't have to even think of a sensible alibi any more, just make some thing up so you are ahead of the game for their blissful lifesytle for when they are older. If you need a couple of examples, knock yourself out with these two
1. why is the grass green? because in 1876 a mob of chickens, human and monkeys thought they would paint it what i know as red! you look at it and call it green,i also look at it and call it green, bit im really seeing what you would call red. don't ask me how i know thi now go to bed - this is a good one as they will be confused and won't bother asking you another question again
2 (they go to daddy instead) why isn't the cat moving? well right now he is at that stage of life where he proforms the magic trick of a life time! he lies there an doesn't talk to any one, no even me!! blimey! and by the morning , while you have been sleeping he would have gone. this is because he would have become one with the floor and would rather you walking all over him than being picked up and squeezed all day when he would rather be sleeping - child will run of crying and never ask daddy any more questions
the child will not trust adults so will be listen to a word they say so therefore , learning nothing! growing up in a blissful world..
thanks you for reading!
