There's an understandable temptation to select past events and sportsmen whose careers can be precisely measured because they're now finished. What about the living legend that is the record-breaking "AP"? If you had the pick of any jockey to ride your horse, he'd be top of the list. He never gives less than 100% and he's a credit both to his sport and to himself. Who knows what he will have achieved by the time he retires?
