A short walk in the blue mountains

Be very careful if someone says to you let's just go for a quick walk down these steps. I said that once and several hours later we were catching the zigzag back up to the top and then had to find our way back to the car.

Don't say you weren't warned. smiley - smiley

No regrets, it is a beautiful place. I might even do it again!

a girl called Ben

It was tipping it down with rain when I visited in late November last year. I was happy as larry, (I am English), and just wanted to stare at the 3 sisters getting wetter and wetter and wetter. Big Bro was all cross because the view wasn't perfect when he tried to show it to his baby sister, and wanted to stomp off back to the car to get warm and the dry.

We were touring, so we changed into dry clothes in the visitors' centre, and got back on the road through the wierdest dry-mist I have ever experienced.

Truly an amazing place, and one I wish I had spent longer in.

Thanks for the entry.
