The case of the witches of Warboys in 1595 which involved the influential Cromwell and Throckmorton familes took place in The Manor House, Warboys. This is now a stunning family home set in 3 acres of formal gardens and can be visited on request and many of the historical documents associated with the 15th century Tudor house are available for perusal.
