Loading of external images was blocked a while back.
Although a small group of Community Artists can supplement the work of the BBC ones they are not allowed to accept commissions from researchers for h2g2 graphics. This is not to be tolerated and there is an alternative solution - HTML/GuideML tables. It's messy and it doesn't work on all browsers but it's a start...
