A Conversation for Paragliding - a History and Brief Description
Bad use of terminology
Sidney Kidney, AKA Gruby Ben, friend of Dirty Den Started conversation Oct 27, 2011
This article has fundamental use of incorrect terminology. For instance, the "canopy" is not called in this in paragliding, its called a "wing" as that is exactly what it is. It has a specified glide ratio and aerofoil cross section.
Also the picture is incorrect and a "slider" is not used at all. This picture is a free fall parachute and not a paraglider.
Im sure there are many more errors and this article could should be corrected and improved.
