How did you get the job with Auntie? I ask really because a friend of mine (a real friend, not a euphemism for myself) is desperate to break into the world of media. He has a degree in the subject and is, presently without success, applying for all manner of journo/media jobs. I on the other hand am happy in my job, which is why I'm leaving in three days...

Quite simply, the BBC took us over. I never actually applied to work here! We were originally part of the Digital Village and when that started to hit the rocks old Auntie took us under her wing.
