If anybody is still interested in this page.

I saw them live at Hammersmith in 1979/80 (one or the other)
They were promoting the "new" album "Just Testing".
I must say that they were one of the best bands that I ever saw live.
It was just them the audience and the music with only one added affect, some very simple lights that were only used for one song (Lifeline I think).
I own most of the bands 70s albums and the last one I've got is Just Testing (the last one Martin Turner was on I think).
I have none of their later albums of which there are many.
I looked at their web site not long ago and evidently they do an Ash Fest every year(I keep promissing myself that I'll go one year).

My favourite album of theirs is Argus but I couldn't pick a favourite track (too many good ones)smiley - smiley

I go every year to see them at the Mean Fiddler in London. Have seen them 4 or 5 times now and they get better every time. Also going to Ashcon this year in Chester. Argus is the best but the most recent 2 are also fantastic!

I used to live close to London an' all but am nowhere near there now nor Chester come to think of it.

I'll have to have a listen to them and find out.

If you do fancy seeing them, check out wihboneash.com They tour quite extensively every year and where ever you're based they will probably be playing somewhere closeby.
