This week's title is The Mysteries of Spring, beginning and ending with a glimpse of the breakwater at Cleethorpes, which is shaped like a whale's tail. Greetings. Spring lambs and other beings on this planet. This week, not one, not two, but three of our photographers have generously agreed to take you on guided tours of their environs. You're going to enjoy these jaunts around different corners of the same big island. Its biodiversity and human variety may surprise you.

In the far north of Scotland, Paigetheoracle continues to find natural wonders in sea, sky, and on the beach. But there are signs of human life, too, even if it's only a pub sign. There's a mystery to solve, too: see if you can help with an identification.

In the North West of England, SashaQ's world looks different. This is probably because Sasha is an experienced birder and they've got a lot of wetlands. This week, the Woodpigeons are visiting the sheep farm. There are also insects to discover in unlikely ways, and another mystery to solve: this one's in a farm field.

Galaxy Babe takes you walking along another coast, this one on the Humber estuary. Boats appear on the horizon. The sun shines on the sea by the picturesque breakwater. Meanwhile, a certain kitty is waiting at home with a surprise.
