Thank you for sharing, I had not heard of them until today.

The quote really resonated with me:

"What is the mathematician doing? He is building notions or ideas, he is constructing, inventing, adding to his body of science. With what is he working? Ideas, relationships, implications, etc."

I wish more education institutions took this approach. I hated Maths at school, part of which I put down to the way it was taught.

Yes, it is sad with the way maths is taught in school that can suck the joy out of the subject - I was lucky that I enjoyed maths enough to be able to get past the boring arithmetic part to the exciting parts eg geometry, mechanics, logic smiley - magic
