It's a Sign: 100 Miles
During the Covid outbreak numerous shops, attractions and places what that week's Prime Minister called 'settings' painted little arrows on the ground to help us get an idea of what distance two metres or six feet were to help with social distancing, with various degrees of accuracy. Many of these arrows are still to be found, fading outside and inside and neglected, but still a reminder of roughly how wide a socially acceptable distance to keep apart is. This, though, is by far the least accurate measurement I've found to date. (It was also without any other context to explain what, other than Covid distancing, this could possibly refer to, so presumably is a legacy of a previous exhibit. For scale there is a foot-long boot imprint next to it, with these boot prints showing the recommended route around the museum).
