Testing Gravity
So, we were in the kitchen on Sunday morning when Andy said, 'Look at that crow!' – pointing outside. I looked and there was a crow dangling upside down off the telephone wire. Two others were paying rapt attention – one seemed concerned enough to begin venturing out along the wire himself, as if to render assistance. Then the dangling crow let go of one foot – cue sharp intakes of breath (us, I can’t speak for the other crows). Then he let go completely, dropped like a stone and swooped off towards the nearest telegraph pole to crow all about it (sorry).
