From what I hear, the zoo folks rescued Jack and Jill, the bear cubs, and hand-raised them. They seem to have flourished. (Black bears are not endangered in Pennsylvania, and there's a hunting season, so Jack and Jill have a safe home.) See the video here or in the Pliny skin.
