Ruined Railway Station by FreewayridingRuined Railway Station by Freewayriding

Freewayriding's been exploring this ruined railway station. He says it's a shame it's not being preserved: it was part of the Manchester-Liverpool line built for the 'Rocket' trials in 1829. This was pioneering railway work that changed the world. We're glad he's preserved a couple of photos for us, at least.

What history is lurking in the corners of your world? Let us know!
