This is a mourning dove. You know why if you've ever heard its call. Phred Firecloud calls it a 'lonesome dove'. That's a good name, too. They're nesting in the Back Forty (centimeters). They're not flashy birds, but they are very attractive. And they give the chipmunks a hard time, which the chipmunks deserve.
