Video: Baltimore Oriole in Pennsylvania
One day in May, it was snowing. No, that's not normal. Everybody's mad about it, especially the birds. I figured I could get some good bird video out my window, because they would be sheltering in the neighbour's flowering bushes.
And what did I see? The brightest bird in the area prowling around in those bushes. He's pretty kinetic, too. Baltimore Orioles love nectar as much as hummingbirds. That's what he's doing, exploring every one of those blossoms. I got my video, and in gratitude, the hummingbird feeder went up the next day. We're also told they like grape jelly.
