I had to resort to Google to learn that Dix is ten in French.
I was very puzzled by the idea of a currency note for 509 dollars. What an odd denomination.
Also, this entry gave me an earworm.

Oh, absolutely "Dixie"... It also lead me to look up clips from a 1953 Bugs Bunny cartoon that would seem quite shocking today.

I think I remember that one. 
It was pretty bad, and would not pass educational sensitivity guidelines.
Personally, I think those Warner Brothers cartoonists were cases of arrested development. 
They used to act out the cartoons in the parking lot at lunchtime.
