Herenna Haiku

Weather it's haiku or not
The hardest word is
a powerful one to clear air,
storm-washed beginning.
Bitter wet sleet whips
a silk scarf into a banner
dusky grey pearl sky.
Drizzle grey rain haze
Saturates all three of my
Unwilling layers.
The first dark evenings
and the autumnal gales' howl
call me back to life.
Water, fire, words, birth,
Feel the shiver through the earth
Howling wet with pain.
