How great to read a witty and very realistic article about having an affair, which doesn't condemn me to 'stoning to death', or suggest in any way that I am a sad, weak, insecure, dependant female, who is 'stealing' somebody else's husband and will end up being hurt.

Being of sound mind and body; having a great, diverse life and total independence - it's a great boon to me to log in to such a sound and honest testament, which endorses the fact that I am involved in an affair, on my own terms, to my agenda and of my own choosing.

I get guilt pangs. I have known my lover for 14 years and believe we've both shown inhuman constraint to have only got fully sexually involved this year...but I'm having a great time, with no thoughts or expectations about the future, whatsoever.

Thanks. Honesty (even brutal honesty) is refreshing and levelling.
