A Conversation for Plato - Philosopher: On Education and Politics
On Politics?

Hi - came across this as well as the Plato -Socrates entry (the title seemed interesting) & would like to deposit a comment here. I assume this is a pre-peer review stage?
Anyway my impression reading this entry was that it wasn't quite sufficiently focussed "on politics" and tended to contain text that wasn't "on politics" - such as the description of "The Sophist" - which seems to be unrelated to politics?
From the title I was expecting a much clearer focus & structure on the subject of politics in the ancient greek world contemporary with Plato ... a clear description of the political system advocated by Plato and the political context under which Plato developed his ideas ... maybe Plato enumerated the different types of extant political systems (?), considered the pros & cons & then presented arguments in support of his own (?) suggested political system ...
I thought the entry Plato - on Socrates was better structured & focussed. I think it is a great idea to have this Plato series & look forward to when they appear in peer review.
