A Conversation for Richard III Unearthed

Excellent Tribute

Post 1

Thank you for writing this, GB - an excellent tribute to the events indeed, and very well updated following this week's postscript.

I couldn't watch this week, but the earlier programme was really interesting, albeit a bit cheesy in places. This Entry summarises the details superbly.

You are most welcome Sasha, it was a pleasure (eventually)smiley - puffsmiley - winkeye this story has had me gripped from the very beginning so I'm pleased to be able to see it through for future readers.

I had to roll my eyes on Thursday when the lunch carer turned up at my mother's house, and we got talking about Richard III, and she said "I wonder why he was buried beneath a car park the first time?"

I thought she was joking, but she seemed to be serious so I said he'd been dead over 500 years and when he was originally interred, it was in the choir of a church, now long gone, and the car park was built in the 20th century. She stared at me as realisation dawned, said she felt a bit daft now, and then remarked that she thought I was very clever and I should do well on The Chase (smiley - blush)
