I have a working Sega Mega Drive with the original 16 bit Sonic game cartridge. c1991.
I still haven't got to the end of the game!

When I tried playing the games again after many years of storing the Mega Drive in the attic in order to write this entry, I was shocked to discover how mind-boggingly useless I was. I'm not a natural game player by any means – I always seem to drown in the same spot...
