The Great Hall

Light wood panelling two thirds of the way up the walls and then alabaster painted plaster for the rest. The ceiling is painted dark blue and hosts six large hanging chandeliers, making this room seems much larger than it is. The lower windows let in enough light during the day to bring out the grain in the wood, and the stained glass in the upper windows fills the walls at the top with a shattered rainbow.
A minstrels' gallery is above the main door to the Entrance Hall holds a projector directed at a screen that comes down to cover the large windows at the end of the hall with speakers discretely hidden in the panelling, this room has been set up to be both a private cinema, and a dance hall. There's an eclectic collection of old armchairs around the walls that can be dragged into place to watch a film, or left as somewhere to relax away from the dancing.
