A Conversation for S Club 7 - the Pop Group

For reasons I don't quite understand on our wedding weekend 7 of our friends dressed up as S-club and performed a song. There is a certain song that is sometimes played at birthday parties that causes our friends to cry 'it's your song' and push us onto the dance floor. This is rendered more bizarre by the fact that our music tastes tend towards the goth/punk spectrum and most of our friends are male.
Thanks for reminding me!

Unfortunately I don't know! I just find myself lurching round the dance floor with my husband mumbling 'why is this our song, I've never heard it before?'
This was something slightly absurd about our wedding- my husband only proposed 3 weeks before we got married and in the intervening period we'd both realised we didn't want to and didn't like to tell the other. The friends we were with hadn't known much in advance 5 days) that it was a wedding weekend but were awfully enthusiastic dressing up as S-Club, getting cake and gathering flowers.
We have been married for 13 years so despite the absurdity S-Club has happy memories for me.

If you ever find out what 'your song' actually is - let me know!
13 years is definitely doing well so far - I've been married over 7 years, but I can't remember whether or not we had any S Club 7 played.
