The Post Art Challenge: Mental Space - Cargoyle

1 Conversation

Our writers responded to the Post Art Challenge immediately and predictably. Most of them protested that they weren't sure where the business end of a camera was. Others, like Bel, questioned my sanity (not for the first time) in creating a challenge involving 'mental spaces'. Now, apart from the fact that any space I occupy is mental, I thought it was a broad enough topic to encompass pretty much anything our artists wished to express in terms of photography + image manipulation. The entry below demonstrates that not all artists think in the abstract. Some of us have concrete mental spaces, thank you very much.

Rod's appear to be in the garage. I think a lot of us can identify with that. – DG
