i enjoyed your article. i have always loved his music but don't recall seeing much about his life and death. it was nice to see someone go into detail on his background.
is it just me or do other people find they listen to his songs a bit more during the christmas season? i don't know what it is but he just seems to fit with the whole thing.

BTW (and completely irrelevant to the posting): I recently found "Time in a Bottle" and "I'll have to say I love you" on a [GENUINE!!] old-fashioned Juke-Box in a 'listed building' pub in Liverpool City Centre - as far as I know it's the only pub in N. England which is still using GAS LIGHTING and may for all I know be the last pub in GB to do so!smiley - smiley
