Thank you so much! I've read a few Entries that have made me feel the same way but I'm very flattered that you think so. The video clip was a nice surprise for me, filmed by two of the editors. I hope they are able to put clips in more entries soon.

Have you ever seen the Stone? It really looks so insignificant and sad at the moment so I thought it deserved to be brought to peoples notice.

Do you have any preference from my theories about why the Stone is so much smaller than it once was?

I like the idea of the carriage colliding with it, perhaps in the middle of the night rushing through the streets. I had an image of some medieval removal men dropping it when it was moved and hoping no-one would notice! Some of it is still underneath Cannon Street probably where the traffic island is. Look at the road and notice the distinct dip, which is where the Wallbrook used to flow.

You'll see the stone has evidence of recent damage too as it is different colours. Enjoy your walk!

I've got to agree. I really enjoyed this article. I love the way that the video clip was filmed by the editors, are you the 1st to have a clip in your entry?

Makes me feel that i should be doing more entries.

Thank you! As far as I know this is the first entry with a video clip, yes. It was a surprise to me, but since the Stone is not far away from the Towers it was easy for them to make it.

The idea behind the fim clip is to see if the concept works within the context of an h2g2 entry. Does it add anything to the reader's experience? I personally think it does. And the the thing is, it was only filmed using a digital stills camera - one that has a minute or so mpeg facility! To this effect, we're considering asking h2g2 Researchers who have access to digital cameras to film clips for Edited Guide Entries. Maybe set up an h2g2 Film Unit. I don't know for sure yet, but definitley watch this space! I'm glad you appreciated the clip.

I really do think it enhances the entry, Sam. Thanks again! Even people who can't view the clip can see the picture too.

I hope the Film Unit idea works out.
