Your only "weapon" is a camera and you exorcise by taking their picture.

The 3rd one's out now, will have to buy it next week (payday, yay). The first one scares your pants off you, the second not so much. The third one looks the best yet, with the main characture from the first one back again - can't wait . Should have it by next weekend! (May have to try my own guide [first] guide entry when I've played it a bit)

You can pick the first one up on Play.com for around a tenner (believe me, if you love Silent Hill, you will adore this one and find that it's the best tenner you've *ever* spent)

Ever since seeing the film I've wanted to become truly engrossed in the whole Silent Hill world - I've recently rented the 3rd game and it's truly horifying.

Ps - if anyone here likes both Silent Hill and extreme music - look out for 'Deleted Scenes From The Transition Hospital' by The Axis Of Perdition - the terrifying aural equivalent of playing the games.

I wasn't terribly impressed with the film myself.

and I rather thought it captured the "spirit" of the games. May have been a bit forgiving though given some of the game-to-film adaptations that have gone before.

Anyone remember the debacle that was Mortal Kombat?? Dire in the extreme!
