Not to be used lightly, preferably, behind someone's back, or as an adjective describing a "group of trolls" when conversing to your friends.

Being a troll isn't a bad thing at all. I have been a troll all of my life. True, I can't go outdoors or I will turn to stone and, granted, if I don't constantly moisturize my green speckled skin will get all flaky. But despite my shortcomings, I have been able to lead a meaningful and productive life.
