Surely the 'arguments' you present here are more commonly known as syllogisms (introduced by Aristotle).

Well, that is right. A syllogism *does* make an argument all by itself, but an argument could also consist of many syllogisms. That might be important enough to alter the entry somewhere. I'll think about it.
What's that about the "undistributed middle"? I'm not familiar with that one.
