Does the dog premise hold up? Not all dogs have four legs either through birth defects or misadventure so the statement can't be true!

Okay, it's just that three-legged animals are disenfranchised in modern society...like my cat.

It's true, about three legged animals. A sad, sad state of affairs, when they can't even get health insurance for their partners. Or maybe that was some other issue. Social activism is so hard to keep up with.
I could say that all "well-formed" dogs have four legs? I'm not trying to be rude about anyone's cat here, though. I'm sure your cat is a perfectly well-formed dog, in its own, crippled sort of way.
Since it's an example of an invalid form of argument in the entry, I'm not thinking it desperately needs to be changed. Francis the Talking Mule really isn't a dog, and it's not because of some loophole about birth defects or injuries. It's because affirming the consequent is wrong, just like uninformed prejudice is wrong, or teaching evolution in schools is wrong, wrong, wrong.
I think someone put some irony in my drink...

PS you'd be suprised how nippy a three-legged cat can be, mate!
Point about the argument accepted, though.

"What do three wrongs make?"
Well... if we assume that the second two make a right, then we've reduced three wrongs to a wrong right. As in a wrong right turn. It should have been a left turn, as in "I should have turned left at Albuquerque". So IF two wrongs make a right, then three wrongs make a Loony Tune.
Bugs Bunny is the closest thing Twentieth Century American culture produced to a trickster figure.
In Israel/Palestine, where they seem to keep hoping that, although the last few million didn't work, maybe *one more* wrong will make a right, they've gone well past Loony Tunes and into outright farce.
