This is not only an internet game. I teach English in Spain and quick fire questions are used to get the students answering more quickly without translating first. Normally there are two teachers and one student in the classroom and each teacher takes turns to ask two or three questions related to the material the student has previously covered in class. The teachers start off slowly and gradually pick up speed asking their questions. It's a great confidence booster to the students when they see that they are able to answer more quickly than they could before.
