Just a couple of points (as opposed to behinds)
"Free kicks are awarded against players who:
Deliberately hold the ball during a tackle
Push opponents in the back
Play unfairly off the ball
Charging and head high tackles
Behinds or rushed behinds
The ball being kicked out of bounds
Throwing the ball (but not hand balling it)
Deliberately pushing the ball out on the foul"
There aren't any free kicks for behinds or rushed behinds. Thence, it should be-
"Kick the ball out of bounds on the full
Throw the ball (but not handball it)
Deliberately push the ball out of bounds"
It might also be worth noting that with all the stoppages, the average quarter ends up being 30 minutes in length. Oh, one more thing, the flag waving is meant to be to indicate what the score was to the other goal umpire; not very necessary at a professional level, but still an important part of the game at the amateur level.
But I agree, good entry
Key: Complain about this post
