October 2007 - ITV is still losing viewers hand over fist, programme quality has plummeted, hence advertising revenues are dropping, and people, at least round here, still refer to Granada rather than "ITV1", as in "There's nothing good on Granada tonight, either".
Also noted that in a stealth move, the old time-honoured Granada logo, a stylised combination of a "G" and "TV" in plain white on a black background, for so long seen as a guarantee of quality TV shows, has been dumped and replaced with an abortion in purple and magenta...
can we have our old familar logo back, please?
