I'm completely addicted. I've yet to see the last few eps (though I already know what's gonna happen...), and once I've seen 'em all, I'm going to watch them again and again and again...
I've only seen the uncensored Japanese version, and to be honest, I hope I'll never ever see the CN version >.<;;

Yeah, the addiction is a pain, but well worth it. And if you do get the entire series, make sure you get DVD or you WILL wear out the tape. Still, it's well worth it for, arguably, the best anime show in syndication today. And definately get the Japanese version, the edits and also translation, take so much out of it, but thats just my opinion.

DVD? Er... I... kinda... download it...
*ducks rotten fruit*
Hey, I do own some anime DVD! Really! *pouts*
But yes, they completely ruined this wonderful anime by dubbing/censoring it. Just wait until you see the REAL version of Gren's shower scene... you'll never be the same again

I am going to have to break down and buy the DVD's, I only see episodes sporadically and on Cartoon Network Adult Swim. I usually am not a huge Animae fan, but film noir anime is completely different, and yes, addicting.
Spike is the newest fictional character I'm in love with (although I'm still not over Sherlock Holms or Wolverine ).
Nice write up, btw.

Well, ok, I downloaded them too, but when the movie comes out, I will have them all on dvd. Hey, Heavy, if the one without the sound is ep 19, Wild Horses, download the divx 3, 4 and 5 codices. Mine didn't work either, but that cleared it all up. It also makes all of the Trigun episodes work, but that is a different thread. Or it should be.

I wept for a good half hour at the end of the series.
Poor, poor Spike.
Vicious is pretty cool, though.

True, true. All the characters are awesome, but what I love most about this series is the way that it doesn't spell everything out for you, and lets you guess at certain important things, like the pasts of the characters and details of their lives.
Brilliant article. Yay!

finding the dvds in the uk can be very hard, but i managed it (at last)! watch the whole series in it whole uncensored goodness, by buying the boxset (also has very cool boxart and lots of special features) by madman entertainment. there are lots of sites that sell it, just do some searching. best £60 i ever spent. unfortunately you will need a dvd player that can play region 4 (austalia) dvds, so check the web to see if yours can, before buying.
