h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

They're a very good band, BRMC, but I'm sure they ring a bell with anyone old enough to remember the Reid brothers' punk-pop explosions. The hair is also quite similar, I think... uncanny!

Love Burns is a very good single, though. Very very good.

Aha... one of the reasons I like BRMC so much is that the J&M Chain is my all-time favorite band. I also noticed the similarity in the hair and black leather attire.

Is there anything on the Guide about JAMC? I mean, they're seminal.

I always mean to start writing about the Manic Street Preachers, they were my favourite band for years (before they went soft and all grown up on me). Maybe I really should!

There is one entry on JAMC A516322 , which is why I didn't write one. It's really very good.

It hasn't been edited though... perhaps we ought to submit it for peer review? It's just a wee bit out of date, but that's easy to fix.

Why don't we? You do the update, I can take care of the editing (I'm good at editing, and I'm getting better at GuideML...) Deal?

I'm not sure but I think all we have to do is submit it for review, and leave a new thread there with the updated info that would need to be added. Really, the only change is the "Best Of" CD that was released last month. I think that the sub-editors would take care of the rest.

But I would like to see it get into the edited guide, because it's a great piece on an important band.
