Seriously, I had always wondered about fingerless gloves. Thanks for the information and the chuckle. 
Too bad they slipped this one in - I could have thought of lots of ways to illustrated it.

I'm glad that line amused someone - not that it was mine, I hasten to add. I think it was from bob stafford back when I submitted a much inferior version to the Writing Workshop.
