Very good even if it was very hard going for my little pea brain. Two questions- what is quantum foam and why is it used in Science Fiction for teleportation?

I don't know what quantum foam is, and I haven't read enough sci-fi to run into it there. Sorry.

quantum foam is a result of the big bang where not all of the rouch edges of the universe has been smoothed out. i got this info from the book "timeline" by Michael Crichton
