I grew up with many an egg banjo -- prefering toast to the classic bread for a long duration. However, I must share the unbridled joy I discovered at a local diner a few years ago when they offerred up an "Egg Burger".
Yes, many will gasp at the thought (and even I had my doubts).
However, the soft yoke of an egg spilling over the beef is a delicacy that everyone should experience - at least once.
