Secret Army Theme

I've been looking for the theme from "Secret Army" for years. Does anyone know if it's been released on CD, LP or cassette? Alternatively, where do I find the original version of "Wall of fear" by Robert Farnham?
I live in Denmark, and I suspect that "Secret Army" has only been aired here once. This article about the series has been a tremendous help!

Thank you,

Hello Michael - glad you enjoyed the entry.

I'm not 100% certain, but I seem to remember one of the Prisoner soundtrack CDs had a version of it. I'll check back with a Prisoner fan-friend of mine and get back to you next week if that's okay?

I asked my friend (who, incidentally supplied a lot of the more obscure info for this very entry) and it seems I've got my classical pieces mixed up. The only recordings of this theme he knows of are as follows:

- Secret Army (R Farnon) - theme for BBC TV series (1977) (Adapted from 'Wall Of Fear'): Central Band Of The Royal Air Force / John Martindale (Arr. Unknown) - DANSAN DS 028 (LP)

- Ronnie Hazlehurst and his Orchestra (Arr. Unknown) - POLYDOR 2384 107 (LP+MC*)

You *might* have some look searching for 'Wall of Sound' on its own though.

Hope this helps,

Jimster

Once again, thank you so much for providing me with information about the secret army theme.
However, after searching countless databases, search engines, internet music stores and other likely places, I still haven't found what I'm looking for.
I'm all out of ideas about what to do with this birthday wish. I even tried the WH Smith internet store, but they didn't have the VHS release you mentioned in the article.
Where can I go now?

Best regards,
Michael Wangel
