If you were unlucky enough to see it on its UK Drama repeat recently, you could be forgiven for not remembering - the sequence was all but cut out of the episode

really Jimster? How pathetic....can't we decide what we can watch on t'telly for ourselves? It's not as if it was out of context or anything.

I think it might have something to do with the way UK Gold schedule dramas to run at any time of day, so that might not have been appropriate for, say, lunchtime. But yes, I do think it might have been wiser to leave it uncut and schedule it more appropriately.

No, it's just that the scenes are really quite violent. Not sure if the UK Drama episodes are unedited or not though.

question:is there any chance of Secret army being shown on BBC4 in the near future because this series is one of BBC's greatest ever drama series?

I see no justification in denying the public the chance to judge 'What Did You Do In The War ,Daddy' for themselves.Will the BBC show it please?
