My grandparents were from donegal but i am a true scunthonian through and through. Born in the Scunthorpe general, baptised in holy souls, pissed in the lincoln imp (the most happening pub around)

So are you a regular Iron supporter (Irish or otherwise)?

Good Scunthonian credentials there by the way. There's a few of us around here. I may not have been born there and I left at the first opportunity but my father worked at the Scunthorpe General and I was confirmed at and a regular attendee at Holy Souls in those days.
Guess you were probably schooled at St Bedes and John Leggott then?

Yep, I went to Augustine Websters too smiley - erm Long enough ago that when I was first at the school he was only Blessed not St (Now I feel old smiley - winkeye)
I left Scunny many years ago, as soon as I had the decent excuse of going off to uni - and unlike my sister have never admitted defeat and gone back to live there! I still go back to visit but after 20 years away I REALLY don't want to go back!
