A Conversation for Parasitoid Insects

iwas in the garden the other day and met a new species aprox 2 inchs long yellow black with a low buzz . first contact i duck ed and moved away to a safe distance .what a sight ,,,it landed on the fence to give me a good look .if i was a wasp i would look like this . sounds like one of these parasitical wasps, where have they come from ?/?
