A Conversation for Orson Welles - Film and Television

On the subject of Welles' TV work, I remember seeing a documentary hosted by Welles on BBC many years ago - I think it may have been an "Arena" special programme - I think it was called "Everything You See Is True" and was about illusion and reality in the media.
Does anyone know anything about this programme or even better, know where I can get a copy?

It sounds as though you are describing 'F for Fake', which was a documentary-style film, dealing mostly with the nature of art and forgery via the story of a forger who became more famous than the artists he forged.
If not, I can't help you, sorry. Except that 'It's All True' was an early, unfinished Welles project.

Oh, F for Fake has been released on video and should still be available in arty video shops, though I think it's out of print.

Although similar in subject matter to "F For Fake", the programme I am referring to is definitely a different piece of work, and was broadcast on BBC as an ARENA special programme around 25 years ago...
