Interestingly, my boyfriend and I saw David at the filming of 'This Is Dom Joly' at the BBC. David was trying so hard to be cool...and obviously didn't get most of the jokes Dom was throwing at him.....but Ian Brown did kindly let him play the tamborine at the end when he was singing. Watch out for it Autumn 2002
And yes, David looked like a geography teacher (albeit a smartly dressed on) at a sixth-form disco!

Wow! You saw Mr D performing live, and with a tambourine. How did you get so lucky? Were you a fan or did you just go along to the filming?
