I'll provide the link to this news item too, but also the text if you can't be bothered jumping to another site:

'Startling new finds at the UCLA film archives: the first reel (twenty minutes) of "Hot Snow," the "pilot" episode of the entire Avengers series has been discovered, as well as a longer version (ten minutes, versus the current three) of "Strange Case of the Missing Corpse." What makes the latter find particularly significant is that it contains footage never before seen by the general public. Keep those fingers crossed that these treasures eventually make their way to us on video.'

I always meant to reply to this...don't know why I didn't at the time...
MY GOD-I'd love to see anything of Hot Snow...I wish everything had survived-but I'd be happy with anything. Now if only I had 'The Frightners' on DVD..instead of just video...I'd sell me soul to santa to have that.
"Sweeties forceheart" indeed!

I keep hearing rumours that the extant episodes of series one might be heading for a DVD release soon, but so far I've not had anything confirmed
