In Tamworth near Birmingham UK.
Still quite small with a definite 'Fairground Feel' it also has some excellen rides and is a little more friendly than Alton Towers if you're not just into the Intense Rollercoaster experience.
It does however have some fantastic white knuckle rides.
Apocolaypse. A tower. You can either sit or stand and you get winched to the top. You hang there for a few seconds whilst a camera looks at your terrified face and then you are dropped 200ft to the ground. Not many screams, it just takes your breath away (although I managed to scream!
The Shockwave - the worlds first (and only?) stand up rollercoaster. You are strapped in standing up and it flips you through at least two enormous corksdrews and various other fiendish manouvers. Very good
Stormforce10 - easily the best log flume in the UK. Modelled on lifeboats it really SOAKS you as well as having backward as well as forwards drops. Makes the one at Alton Towers seem like a picnic.
