Children's Summer Schools

During the summer holidays in Birmingham, there are numerous summer school schemes run across the city to try and keep kids amused and (supposedly) improve their education. A couple of years ago I worked for the 'Children's University' scheme, and the pay wasn't bad - anything from £5 - £10 per hour across the board, student employees and qualified teachers alike. Really though, to work with unruly kids and get glue poisoning from all the 'art work', I reckon I should have got paid more.
